Contemporary Art by Elad Eisenstein

My Story

I make contemporary art, focusing on questions of identity and belonging. My art is rooted in my own experiences and reflections on ‘where is home’ and ‘what is home’. Living and working in London, my work is greatly influenced by cultural and societal identity narratives.

My artwork is abstract, working with a limited palette and layering to create contrasting compositions. I use a lot of interplay between strong geometry and intuitive brush strokes.
I try to create a relationship between both, as impactful portraits of life.

Trained as an architect and an urbanist, my work is rooted in city life, focusing on emotions and interactions emerging out of urban structures and landscapes. As a self taught artist, I try to find new ways to communicate, creating personal images that are honest and full of hope.
